In today’s fast-paced and ever-changing business environment, it seems people position themselves as experts in various fields or trades, simply by saying they have a certain level of know-how. But, what truly constitutes expertise is the mix of proficiency, knowledge, background, and skill that distinguishes specialists from novices. Experience is earned with education, work, energy, drive, and determination. Eberly & Collard Public Relations embodies these characteristics in its co-owners, staff members, and years of industry concentration.

When Eberly & Collard Public Relations was formed, co-owners Don Eberly and Jeff Collard already knew many business owners and managers in the Home, Garden, Design, and Agribusiness Industries who needed a marketing firm made up of people who had worked in their fields, stood in their shoes, and understood their needs from firsthand experience. Industry friends, peers and media members suggested the two should unify their expertise to create a firm like none other before its time.

To change fields or to come from one – are two very different things. It is this basis upon which Eberly and Collard started the firm. With collective work backgrounds and degrees in Horticulture / Design, Education, Journalism, Marketing, and Public Relations, they founded the company to address the specific needs of industry clients facing challenges in branding, marketing, advertising, and public / media relations.

Today, our consumer-based clients are interviewed on radio and television at key junctures, and consumer and trade clients’ products or designs are featured in newspaper, magazine, online, and blog articles on average hundreds of times each year.

Some other firms dabble in home, garden, design, and similar areas, whereas a closer look at their companies reveals the fact they also work outside these fields, under different business or division names. Our focus began and always will remain true to our word, and true to the industries in which we work.
